visiting the holocaust museum was a very moving experience. I was reminded of the tragedy that the world experienced and saw first hand many tangible artifacts that pointed to this great inhumanity.I learned not to take things for granted, appreciate the life you have right now. You sometimes may say “life is unfair.
But is it really? If you think hard, do you really think it is? Some may say so but it really isn’t. How would you like if you had to die young and have everything taken from you, your family, your friends, and your life. It’s not great is it? Visiting the museum was great even though the thoughts going through my head at the time was filled with sadness.
I can relate to your words here bro. When you're reminded of the things that befall some people who are not necessarily worse than we are, you just feel a sense of remorse at having taken life for granted.
ReplyDeletei can also relate to this. Visited the holocaust museum in houston last year and it was very emotional for me and my friends.. I did cry by the way!
ReplyDeletevisited the one in dallas a couple of weeks back....did you get a chance to see the seminar they organise before the tour?
ReplyDeleteI plan to visit some of the Holocaust museums this summer. I am trying to prepare myself for how emotional it is going to be. Thanks for following my blog too btw! I have been checking out yours, and you raise some incredibly insightful, thought provoking topics. Very interesting reading :)
